Once inside, we measured our legs against the dinosaurs IMG_0294 and explored a bit IMG_0295 before they beckoned us IMG_0296 first Ben and Jane IMG_0297 IMG_0298 IMG_0299 then Sarah and David IMG_0300 IMG_0301 IMG_0302 IMG_0303 to come visit with them. Next we decided to do the crocodile IMG_0304 and dinosaur IMG_0305 IMG_0306 walks before taking a look inside IMG_0307 our own bodies as they flew overhead IMG_0308 A few more steps IMG_0309 IMG_0310 and a chat with this guy IMG_0311 convinced us that we wanted the paleontologist IMG_0312 to outfit us IMG_0313 for our dinosaur dig IMG_0314 IMG_0315 IMG_0316 after which we took our first Sarah and Jane sitting picture IMG_0317 and went off to see the wildebeast IMG_0318 IMG_0319 IMG_0320 IMG_0321 the lions IMG_0322 and the other animals IMG_0323 IMG_0324 IMG_0325 of Africa before Ben joined the jungle IMG_0326 and we saw the mummy IMG_0327 gorillas IMG_0328 IMG_0329 and zebras IMG_0330 IMG_0331 with the antlers IMG_0332 that lured us to the butterfly lands.

Once among the butterflies, we got some pictures IMG_0333 IMG_0334 IMG_0335 IMG_0336 IMG_0337 some more hidden than the others before we had to wonder IMG_0338 if we were taking any home with us. At the infinite mirrors IMG_0339 we were able to do some experiments with optics and then it was off to see the bug exhibit IMG_0340 which had been our original destination. This millipede IMG_0341 told his story IMG_0342 and then David drew Aunt Agnes IMG_0343 as Jane made her picture for Kaylen IMG_0344 Sarah colored the red kneed tarantula IMG_0345 we did our fossil rubbing IMG_0346 and this picture IMG_0347 led to the picture IMG_0348 by the six year old. After recording the crayon box IMG_0349 and the template IMG_0350 there were a few more pictures IMG_0351 IMG_0352 IMG_0353 before we headed back IMG_0354 past the Franklin institute IMG_0355 for the drive to South Philly and a few more Sarah and Jane pictures IMG_0356 IMG_0357 one better than the other and a picture of David and Ben IMG_0358 until the salad IMG_0359 pizza IMG_0360 and meatball parmagiana sub IMG_0361 came to fill us up. After taking this sign for the collection IMG_0362 we went to visit the cigar store Indian IMG_0363 on Passyunk Avenue IMG_0364 before going in and buying a cigar IMG_0365 from this gentleman and saying good bye to Marra's IMG_0366 to head south and triple park IMG_0367 at Polito's IMG_0368 where the pastries IMG_0369 looked good and this woman IMG_0370 sold us our fair share of cookies and cheese cake (see below).

We drove north past Catharine Street IMG_0371 to find DrLen and Judy IMG_0372 returning from their trip to a floor full of mail IMG_0373 and their new flat screened Sony high tech television IMG_0374 that called out for cheesecake IMG_0375 IMG_0376 and cookies IMG_0377 to be eaten.

All this activity made us wish for a walk in the park. We headed down the drive IMG_0378 and saw these 2 people sitting on the hill IMG_0379 behind the statue IMG_0380 with the boat houses IMG_0381 and the art museum IMG_0382 int he background. The water buildings IMG_0383 and bridges IMG_0384 plus this fallen tree IMG_0385 set the right backdrop IMG_0386 for this group photo before we went to ask him IMG_0387 about open floor times at the local gym.

All this activity meant that it was dinner time, so we followed the Davidson's IMG_0388 to the Country Club IMG_0389 where Ben IMG_0390 made his weird face as we found our way to the table IMG_0391 for the last Jane and Sarah picture IMG_0392 as Ben IMG_0393 and Lenny and Judy IMG_0394 were ready for the food. Jane had the chicken soup IMG_0395 Judy had the salad IMG_0396 and after this roll IMG_0397 DrLen's plate of Jewish dairy IMG_0398 came with Ben's turkey burger IMG_0399 and my garden burger IMG_0400 so that we could eat and head back to the country.
