In preparation for Hannukah, I spoke with Stanley Corngold IMG_0765 of the German Department about the possibility that his retirement would be his gift to me. This set the stage for the celebration. Ben was excited to get not one IMG_0766 not two IMG_0767 but three IMG_0768 video games to match the 3 blazers IMG_0769 that came for the women around him. This amused those assembled at the table IMG_0770 as the candles were lit IMG_0771 and more presents were opened IMG_0772 including this Hannukah tray IMG_0773 which served as a centerpiece IMG_0774 as we opened the hannukah kit IMG_0775 and Ben took his video games IMG_0776 to the other room as the hannukah candle holder IMG_0777 got scrutinized by the elders IMG_0778 and the fire IMG_0779 kept on burning.

My plate was clean IMG_0780 which was cause for Lizzie and Sara IMG_0781 to celebrate as Suzanne pondered IMG_0782 bringing on the desserts IMG_0783 IMG_0784 IMG_0785 to complete the feast.

In the other room, there was discussion IMG_0786 IMG_0787 of whether Jane's falling asleep IMG_0788 and Ben's playing a PS2 game IMG_0789 made it an official Havurah. Seva IMG_0790 believed and the computer confirmed IMG_0791 that it was. Happy first night to all.
