It was the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and this seemed like a day when the traffic to the city wouldn't be bad and the crowds easily handled, so we decided to drive in to the Museum of Natural history parking P5270003 on 84th Street. While we waited for the rest of them to cross the street P5270004 Benjamin P5270005 explored the subway entry and we looked at the park P5270006 that was named P5270007 for Theodore Roosevelt who had a statue P5270008 in front of the museum where they sold balloons. We wanted to see the genomics exhibit P5270010 but first we visited the Neanderthals P5270011 P5270013 and dinosaurs P5270014 P5270015 P5270016 and headed off for lunch stopping for the obligatory phone booth picture P5270017 The first restaurant P5270018 had too long a wait so we visited the bubble blowing bear P5270019 on the way to the good pizza place P5270020 where we had these condiments P5270021 and some of the family posed for pictures P5270022 P5270023 P5270024 P5270025 P5270026 P5270027 Suzanne went back to the toy store P5270028 on the way back to the museum where this police car P5270029 was parked.
