I drove to Philadelphia (2140) IMG_1193 and there was DrLen IMG_1194 excited about his computer IMG_1195 as we planned the day and stared at the refrigerator IMG_1196 and bottles IMG_1197 and plates IMG_1198 so that we would know where DrLen should call for food IMG_1199 as I admired the art work IMG_1200 IMG_1201 while the ordering continued IMG_1202 and we eventually got to PrimoHoagies IMG_1203 to buy our food. We drove past the red pepper sign IMG_1204 and the people on the corner IMG_1205 as I took this self portrait IMG_1206 while we followed the yarn truck IMG_1207 past the Free Library IMG_1208 until we parked and secured the car IMG_1209 at the Wissahickon IMG_1210 and followed the path IMG_1211 past the big tree IMG_1212 and under the statue IMG_1213 to the bench IMG_1214 overlooking the water IMG_1215 where we settled and took out the food IMG_1216 and opened the wrapper IMG_1217 and drank the water IMG_1218 as the water below IMG_1219 and the bridge above IMG_1220 made the right setting from which to watch the fishermen IMG_1221 IMG_1222 and wonder if they both caught IMG_1223 IMG_1224 the same fish. Driving back on the parkway IMG_1225 I tried a new genre IMG_1226 which failed and got home where the kids IMG_1227 IMG_1228 looked like they hadn't moved.

On Saturday, Suzanne IMG_1229 and I went to Mrs. G's IMG_1230 where this man IMG_1231 sold us a new dryer. Back at home, the kids IMG_1232 IMG_1233 were still on the couch IMG_1234 watching television even as we decided to go to dinner at Paulie's IMG_1235 and head into the house IMG_1236 after capturing Suzanne IMG_1237 and have Bill IMG_1238 and Martha IMG_1239 arrive to the amusement of our waiter IMG_1240 who is Jane's age and works 40 hours per week. After taking a self portrait IMG_1241 and a profile IMG_1242 Suzanne and I split this salad IMG_1243 and then the main courses IMG_1244 IMG_1245 and sides IMG_1246 IMG_1247 came along with my dish IMG_1248 and the dessert IMG_1249 and coffee IMG_1250 which made Martha make a call to Jane IMG_1251 and Bill wonder IMG_1252 as the day was done.

The next day was Sunday (May 9) and we celebrated Mother's Day as we had in the past

so we got Jane up off the couch IMG_1253 and Suzanne IMG_1254 got ready as I IMG_1255 showed Jane IMG_1256 the mother's day flowers IMG_1257 and Ben IMG_1258 IMG_1259 and Jane IMG_1260 posed by the tree for the first (of many) sets of passport pictures.

Then we got into the car IMG_1261 and drove to Main Street IMG_1262 where we posed IMG_1263 IMG_1264 in various configurations IMG_1265 and then all together IMG_1266 IMG_1267 thanks to Ed Felten who was in Quizno's at the time (and is probably now very thirsty).

Once inside, the girls IMG_1268 sat on one side and Suzanne IMG_1269 on the end while Ben and I IMG_1270 IMG_1271 IMG_1272 IMG_1273 IMG_1274 took many shots to get an acceptable picture after which the bloody Mary's IMG_1275 and the con queso dip IMG_1276 came leading to more pictures of me IMG_1277 Ben IMG_1278 IMG_1279 IMG_1280 and Suzanne IMG_1281 before Jane took a good profile IMG_1282 and a few not so good IMG_1283 IMG_1284 and after some other tries IMG_1285 IMG_1286 IMG_1287 I caught the sister act IMG_1288 IMG_1289 to the amusement of our servers IMG_1290 as the salad IMG_1291 the burger IMG_1292 the sandwich IMG_1293 and the fallafel IMG_1294 came along with another burger IMG_1295 which led to a hair length competition IMG_1296 that was resolved by these two desserts IMG_1297 IMG_1298 after which we captured the women IMG_1299 and went to the drug store IMG_1300 to check out beanie babies IMG_1301 IMG_1302 as we celebrated a successful mother's day.
