It was Friday night and the Patterson's were in town, so we decided to
have dinner at our house. The table was all set
IMG_0626
and the butter quite adorned
IMG_0627
as the cheeses had been prepared
IMG_0628
and Chef Rob
IMG_0629
seemed quite at home in our kitchen
IMG_0630
having brought his edible flowers
IMG_0631
to brighten up the meal.
The bar
IMG_0632
was ready, the Princeton plates
IMG_0633
were out and the crudites
IMG_0634
and dip
IMG_0635
were ready for the visitors as the refrigirator
IMG_0636
and counter
IMG_0637
showed more of Chef Rob's handiwork.
The guests arrived and the Peterson's
IMG_0638
seemed happy as Celia
IMG_0639
told Dave
IMG_0640
about the spread of Bubonic plague while Linda
IMG_0641
seemed a little concerned and Bernard
IMG_0642
was amused, perhaps because he knew he was going to take this picture
IMG_0643
next. We came to the table
IMG_0644
which seemed more ready for diners as the eggplant
IMG_0645
and rice
IMG_0646
dishes seemed to revive Linda
IMG_0647
and Lynn told a story
IMG_0648
that amused Celia and Suzanne
IMG_0649
though not as much as the Chilean sea bass
IMG_0650
and the vegetables
IMG_0651
which filled our stomachs even though cheeses
IMG_0652
tarts
IMG_0653
and cake
IMG_0654
were still to come.
Another very pleasant evening and tasty dinner.
