It was to be a special day. As I walked in to work, they were almost totally prepared for what was to come P9280007 P9280008 even though the chapel entrance was closed P9280009

Once in the office, I saw George Butts (GeoRomeo) P9280010 about COS 111 and John Taylor P9280011 about independent work. Michele P9280012 came in a little late and not feeling well. Then Misha P9280013 P9280014 came by to show me his latest results.

Patrick Min P9280015 and Jim Roberts P9280016 came by and we went to check out the video with Steve Elgersma P9280017 making sure the controls worked and Patrick P9280018 putting in the video to show that it played. On the way back to the office, Doug Clark tried to hide down this stairwell P9280019 but we got him before he got away. After a few head shots P9280020 P9280021 to show off my new haircut, Brian came by and we posed P9280022 in our parade costumes. Then Andrea arrived P9280023 and finally Andrew P9280024 so that the team was assembled and we could go to the parade grounds.

Once there, the chemical engineers P9280025 asked that I take their picture (I also took one with their camera). Mike Jennings P9280026 was seeming quite happy and Brad Dickinson P9280027 was trying to figure which end was up. Brian hooked up with Hisashi Kobyashi and Karin Trainor P9280028 while Jim Wei showed his new hat to Georgia Nugent P9280029 and Brian took Doug Clark's picture. P9280030 Finally we got it. The fancy people assembled P9280031 P9280032 as this woman took our pictures P9280033 and then the parade began and the ceremony completed.

Afterwards, I took Suzanne to see the Friend Center where we ran into Adam P9280034 who took this picture of me P9280035 and then I captured Michael Littman P9280036 in this pose.

The main event was on the track field. We ran into Dan and Priscilla Scheiner P9280037 with this woman P9280038 who this woman P9280039 thought was their daughter. Bill and BJ were there P9280040 in Princeton regalia and Jim Wei P9280041 had pants P9280042 to die for. Suzanne had the soup P9280043 while Van Williams and friends waited in line P9280044 and I got a picture of the ice sculpture. P9280045 Stuart Schwartz P9280046 was enjoying the event as we finally got out food and proceeded to the table.

Once at the table, Jane and friend showed the best P9280047 of the collection of desserts P9280048 while Laurie Russen watched P9280049 and Beth was too close P9280050 for focus while ThomasR and his wife P9280051 joined in the discussion about the waters of Princeton. P9280052

On Saturday, we recorded this sign at our door P9290053 where the bell seems to finally be fully functional and then headed to the Friend Center dedication. Once there, Suzanne talked to La Senora P9290054 and to Andrea P9290055 before we got a picture of the Russels together P9290056 and Priscilla P9290057 in front of Janet Dickerson.

The final event was the football game. We went to Lucy's house P9290058 and Jane and Lucy emerged P9290059 and got into the car P9290060 for the trip to Hoagie Haven P9290061 where we got close P9290062 and finally took a family photo. P9290063 Halftime at the game was blurry P9290064 as these people marched P9290065 and we remembered who we were rooting for. P9290066 From high above, we saw Matt Smith P9290067 and then he saw us P9290068 as we looked down at the other amusements. P9290069 Meanwhile, the Princeton Tigers reassembled P9290070 and I took a final artistic photo P9290071 before the kickoff P9290072 which was quickly returned P9290073 as this cameraman P9290074 hid from our camera's eye.

Princeton scored P9290075 which upset the Columbia cheerleaders P9290076 so that it was climbing time. Jane was first to make it up P9290077 before we paused to take a picture of the guy P9290078 wearing the tablecloth. Then after a group photo P9290079 Benjamin climbed P9290080 until the guard told us that we were supposed to be watching instead of climbing.

So, we watched Columbia with the ball P9290081 on the 1 yard line P9290082 where they ran this play P9290083 and scored P9290084 as recorded P9290085 by the scoreboard. We closed the experience with this picture P9290086 of the WWPHS guy that I'm sure Sarah and I know.
