06.03.00 We don't have a scanner here. Jane needed some pictures of her Princeton friends for her Spanish project. So, she decided to experiment with ways of getting good enough pictures using the digital camera essentially as a scanner. Those of you who think this was a silly idea are referred to where David and Sarah were able to use the results of previous research about photography off the television set.

The first pictures washed out P6030003 P6030004 P6030006 P6030007 P6030008 P6030009 P6030010 P6030011 P6030012 P6030013 P6030014 P6030015 P6030016 P6030020 P6030033 P6030034 P6030038 P6030039 P6030040 P6030042 even when she caught corners of the carpet P6030002 with these P6030005 P6030021 being about the best she got except for the distortions P6030017 P6030018 P6030019 which we found amusing but very bad. There were also some weird background pictures P6030022 P6030023 P6030024 P6030025 P6030026 P6030028 even when blurred or taken with rug backgrounds P6030027 P6030029 P6030030 P6030031 P6030032 P6030036

At this point, Sarah appeared P6030035 and a few pictures came out better P6030037 P6030041 P6030043 P6030044 P6030045 P6030046 P6030047 P6030048 P6030049 P6030050 P6030051 P6030052 P6030053 or maybe we just became more tolerant of the complexity of the task at hand.
