At long last I got my new digital camera. It took forever. The
camera went out of stock especially at the discount place where
I ordered it to save a dollar and ended up getting a head ache.
They kept promising it the next day and it never came, so I
ended up just getting it at a local store. So much for shopping on the
internet.
I decided to experiment a little to learn about the camera. Jane
actually experimented quite a bit more than I did.
All of the pictures shown here are small versions of the original.
The thumbnails are shrunk to 5% of the original size and the pictures that
pop up are shrunk to 1/6 of the original size. (Actually 1/2 x 1/3).
eventually this will change.
There are also movies that should play on Windows machines if nowhere
else.
I assembled the camera in my study and took the first picture
