Aunt Anne's shrimp salad ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120050 in papaya shell was beautiful as were my vegetarian omelet (we let the bacon on??) ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120051 Benjamin's BT sandwich (hold the L) ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120052 Suzanne's chicken salad (Sarah had the same entree) ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120053 Jane's BLT (I'll have some L) ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120054 and the fish that Irv and Dan ordered. ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120055 I made the clean plate club ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120056 so I could have the cookies they brought ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120057 and choose my mint chocolate chip ice cream ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120059 from the plate of ice creams. ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120058 They even brought me this hot fudge sauce ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120060 to enhance the experience. On the way out, we stopped to admire the view ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120061 including the Mormon temple that Benjamin thought was a castle. The kids created this photo op from up close ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120062 and then from a distance. ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120063 Afterwards, we went back to the apartment and took this picture of ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120064 the sisters.
Our next excursion was to the beach. This person pulled out ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120065 so that we could park ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120066 near this corner and follow this street ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120067 down to the main lifeguard stand ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120068 at the beach ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120069 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120070 which looked good and provided a nice background ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120071 for this family photo. Benjamin liked the water ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120072 and the seaweed ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120073 and was quite happy to venture in ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120074 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120075 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120076 as the first flying billboard ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120077 passed. Then, he and Jane ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120078 started in with our rental boogie board. They rode some waves ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120079 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120080 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120081 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120082 and then we paused to take a picture of this family ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120083 in matching bathing suits before returning for more surfing ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120084 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120085 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120086 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120087 with a break for another flying billboard ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120088 followed by still more surfing ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120089 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120090 during which time Jane found a rock ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120091 that was too small to see (especially because I mis-focussed). We returned the boogie board ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120092 to their shack and admire the hole ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120093 Sarah had constructed and the castle ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120094 Benjamin built with the removed sand. After pausing for one more picture ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120095 Sarah took her hole ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120096 even deeper and collected ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120097 this souvenir rock while Benjamin gathered this wonderful collection ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120098 and we read the beach regulations ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120099 while thinking about getting in the long line ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120100 for the outdoor showers. On the way back, we passed this lemonade (and apples) stand ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120101 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120102 and then considered buying this ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120103 car for sale.
Once back, it was time for dinner. There was good vegetable soup ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120104 and I had this dark beer from Price Club ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120105 to accompany the potato kugel ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120106 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120107 and the meatballs with flash ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120108 and without. ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120109 My brown rice and vegetables dish ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120110 was a wonderful prelude to the strawberries, ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120111 donuts and brownies, ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120112 and banana ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120113 that came for dessert enabling Benjamin to make (and eat) ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120114 this sculpture and letting Jane ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120119 build this food sculpture ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120115 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120116 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120117 ../../../Sabbat/08.11-20.01CATrip//P8120118 from the remains of our dinner.
