but the show had to go on. Lauren was there
looking ready to head north to cooler climes. Nancy Duff
was enjoying her conversation as were Chip
and Leslie.
Rhonda and Audrey
were watching the kids in the pool as Tony and the soon to be Boot-substitute were discussing their lives in marketing .
The scene at the pool was a little surreal as the adults used umbrellas
while the kids swam
until Benjamin
got out and tried to dry off.
Next it was time to eat. My meal
looked good but Lauren
thought hers looked even better.
This amused Susan Head
but Adam was too busy eating
as Chip,
Suzanne,
and Leslie
watched.
Jane and Mary had a fine time
though Mary was already moving too fast to need the sugar high from the cake
that summarized the event.
