The proverbial last day of the trip came. It had been a wonderful experience but now it was time to go to the airport and catch the flight back home. We all got to the airport and completed all of the procedures to get through Spanish passport control and into the no man's land that lies between Spain and the plane. This left us all enthusiastic

so we went to the bar to catch some food and this gentleman was kind enough to take this family picture

Then the time came to board the moving ramp and head forward happily with our remaining worldly possessions to catch a first glimpse of the plane that we would board through this gate after processing this long line

When we arrived in Princeton, we found an incredibly warm reception waiting for us with balloons and kind notes from friends. Unfortunately the camera was inaccessible, so the warmth of the greeting will just be in our hearts.
