We don't have a scanner here.
Jane needed some pictures of her Princeton friends for her
Spanish project.
So, she decided to experiment with ways of getting good
enough pictures using the digital camera essentially as a scanner.
Those of you who think this was a silly idea are referred to
where David and Sarah were able to use
the results of previous research about photography off
the television set.
The first pictures washed out
even when she caught corners of the carpet
with these
being about the best she got
except for the distortions
which we found amusing but very bad.
There were also some weird background pictures
|
even when blurred or taken with rug backgrounds
|
At this point, Sarah appeared
and a few pictures came out better
|
or maybe we just became more tolerant of the complexity of the
task at hand.
