The next day was party day. We were having a crowd of hundreds (well, maybe 100) and so it was good that Don ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0614 was starting to get things ready and the wait staff ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0615 ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0616 was prepared as the backyard bar ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0617 was set, the flowers hung ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0618 and the table set ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0619 not far from the planter ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0620 and other arrangements ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0621 ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0622 ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0623 even as the inside bar ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0624 got ready and glasses ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0625 were unpacked. The family room ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0626 will never be this clean again and despite our efforts at organizing the porch ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0627 ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0628 no one went out there. The kitchen had flowers ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0629 so I went to put on the baseball tie ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0630 ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0631 ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0632 as more flowers (or flower pictures) ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0633 emerged and the herbs ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0634 and other arrangements ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0635 came to the kitchen while the buffet ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0636 was set and the veggies and dips ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0637 and arrangements for hummus ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0638 and the bar ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0639 were set so that the cheeses ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0640 and hummus ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0641 could come out. The display was beautiful ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0642 but I never got to taste it though the bartender ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0643 did share his wares with me but first the food truck ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0644 had to offload ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0645 so that Jane and Chef Larry ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0646 ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0647 could get together for her chicken tenders ../../../Sabbat/2005/04.09-11.05FacultyParty//IMG_0648 which didn't seem to be served to others.
