After lunch, we drove to Carlsbad along this road
and decided to ignore this sign
so that we could go down to the beach
and watch the birds fly
as we observed the warning signs
and watched the surfers
out in the ocean. Sylvia decided to do some experimenting with the camera to see if she could capture the perfect picture of the squirrel's sign
while we all observed the law
and picked no vegetation. Along the sea wall, we ran into this memorial
to some unfortunate possible surfer who didn't read the signs. Then it was time for a pit stop with Sylvia posing on her side
while Dan had already gone in
his. On the way back, we captured this wonderful picture
of the birds at the surf and then noted that this van
was a real steal for the right owner. Once back in La Jolla, Sylvia captured this picture of Dan and me
having this chat session
with Jane on the other coast. For some reason, I forgot to record the wonderful dinner meal, perhaps it was tiredness. After dinner, we started a game of O Hell that ended the next morning with me as the victor as the scoresheet shows
and as you can see the deck
was not rigged. So, here is a picture of the proud winner.
