It had been a few months since the Seems left for Vermont, so we were happy when Mary came to spend the night. She and Jane

posed for a bunch of pictures and then Suzanne joined them for another.

This got them excited, so they decided to test their photography starting with pictures of the house and then media photographs of the television and a magazine on the floor before recording the whole room from the floor up. All this led them to try their hand at self portraits

in an effort reminiscent of efforts to recreate the Blair Witch project. After a break for some attempts at artistic photography they went back to trying to capture some (or occasionally all) parts of their bodies

building up to the famous donut sequence

including the chocolate donut itself. Another effort at artistic expression brought them back to landscape photography followed by attempts to record 360 degrees of Mary's face

followed by many views down their legs

Gentle viewer... I have made no effort to upgrade the presentation of the images that I've just shown. The artists had something in mind when they shot this collection and it would be a mistake for me to try and deconstruct their efforts by doing such questionable things as changing the orientation of their pictures. The art speaks for itself! What follows is a somewhat more mundane retelling of the events of the day

Later that day

After recording the home events, Mary and Jane walked into town to see the Revolutionary war reenactments in progress. The soldiers' encampment got bigger and bigger as they got closer until they met the soldier and his cannon walking down the street to meet his friends and guard the fortress. Some kind soul recorded Jane and Mary by the cannon as they took this picture of Palmer Square, this picture of darkness and these street scenes By now I had hooked up with them and we wall went to pick up Benjamin at Sunday school. Together, we drove

until we reached the battlefield where Jane caught her breath as we ran up the hill to the Collonade for a photo shoot.

and beyond to the grave stone where Mary and Jane and then Benjamin enjoyed the cold ground.

ON the way back, we recorded the Collonade in new light and then took numerous group pictures

including some from odd angles and this upside down picture. Some passerbys joined our photo session although they sometimes also had trouble standing straight though they did take this picture of our whole group After one last picture of Jane we ran down the hill to get home for lunch.

There was a sandwich and some tomatoes not to mention the vegetarian delight as Sarah and Debbie Chadi studied away.

Next thing we knew, Boot and Nancy arrived for a demonstration of PS2 and then Nancy showed off her copied face and new Beanie Baby even as Debbie left. Next the Seems got ready to go showing off their Vermont plates and up to date inspection as Boot posed for a few final pictures and Mary and Jane did one last picture before they hit the road for the ride back to the snow.
