The next day, Suzanne awoke
and read the paper with Sarah
as Ben emerged
and Andy made coffee
while Jane slept
and Red Teddy
made a rare appearance. Andy looked about
as the birds sang
and once Jane finished packing
we braved the car
and said farewell to Debbie
and thanked her for being a wonderful hostess even as Red Teddy
put on his show for the mothers
and after much applause
Ben's sisters
convinced him that it was time to bring Red Teddy
to pere and mere Gespass where they were watching the CSpan Book Tour
as Milt welcomed us
and we had another breakfast
complete with very photogenic apples
and a napkin that did not do well with flash
or without
so it seemed like we needed to make one more Pittsburgh excursion.
We drove to Whole Foods
where Suzanne was enthusiastic about the produce
as we bought yams
and then soup
and breads
before checking out the prepared foods
which she
rang up for us. The potatoes
and soup
needed some fruit
and a sandwich
after which this person
showed off the truffles
before we looked at dairy
and smoked meats
which made me need to learn more rules
and then come back for the lox
and some produce
before it was suggested that maybe I shouldn't take pictures in their store.
So, we loaded the groceries
and headed for the oldest rest stop on the turnpike
where she
confirmed my belief that it's fine to take pictures in a Starbucks.
After a long ride, we saw this welcoming sign
that told us we were indeed there yet.
