The new day began with stuffing and a lot of turkey motion with the ever present fruit as stuffing was served and macaroni and cheese was rescued at which point Jane and Scott appeared onions were sliced seeds were dried and the turkey minus a few parts was going through final prep as mustard was presented and the final turkey along with final condiments was getting ready for the oven as pepper and vinegars and spices still had to go into the sink with the turkey as it made its way through final prep out of the sink into the next stage past the seeds and gently prepared so that it could be loaded into the oven and appropriately placed. That task completed, work could begin for the second turkey (actually a breast)

and various of the side dishes could come together

before it was time to revisit the oven for all manner of activities

before Ben appeared and the turkey work was completed (for this stage) so that we could turn attention to the cheese on broccoli with a turkey interlude before final prep and remaining cheese and high speed bread toasting as Justin arrived cheeses were arranged dried apricots appeared and then it was time for further turkey basting.

At this point, there were 2 activities of interest which interleave below the prepsration of the vegetable turkey and the interaction with the real turkey as the table was set and here was the vegetable turkey and the real turkey (with thermometer) and the vegetable growing and the real cooking and this alternation was interupted as the cheese was prepared the vegetable turkey was put to rest football was turned on the real turkey was near ready and the guests -- Dick and Fran Michelle and Mackenzie Jason and the Megary's arrived. The food continued to grow and amuse

as the women posed in front of the wall and the turkey was sliced and disassembled before we all were seated for the meal

and these were some of the plates people enjoyed before we did the Hannukah thing.
