The next day was the main event. Sarah and Ed rose early and chose a gift to bring to their dinner as Suzanne took her coffee and breakfast was served though we skipped the soy sauce left over from the night before. and Suzanne Ed and Sarah enjoyed their breakfast before the bags were gathered and Ed and Sarah got into the car and drove to Baltimore.

Soon after, Ben got up and greeted Suzanne as the pie crust formed and a flour covered Suzanne studied the pie crust instructions taking a stirring break and cleaning the potatoes before returning to the task of crust construction, scissors and all

even as the chocolate was melting the syrup was being gathered by the flour covered cook and displayed before being used with the pecans to make the pecan pie that made its way into the over as Jane was awakened and came back to see finished pies and stuffing.

Next we gathered the food into our trunk for the journey to the Kramers where the appetizers were already being served and Rory and Josh and Rene watched as Peter spoke to Ben and Ben to Jane until the three of them were willing to raise their heads to the camera as Seva removed dishes from the oven and eggnog was served before the main event. Once the turkey was ready we gathered at the table in stages

and I took this self portrait to complete the group. The soup excited those on my side of the table as my plate and those of my neighbors were set and ready to join the wines while Ben Peter Rory and Suzanne Seva and Rene gathered in conversation.

After dinner, we took the tour of the new bathrooms

before my cell phone was used and Ben and I and Suzanne led the way to the Justs where Lee Steven Richard Jessie and Judy welcomed us to a dessert extravaganza complete with birthday cake and my serving looked like so before we said good bye to the lovely Thanksgiving of 2006.
