Family It was the weekend. A lot of people came into our lives and a lot of people left. More of our family than usual took pictures including some artistic work. We recorded much of it. Despite the appearances reflected in this web page, we did spend a fair amount of the weekend out of the house. We just recorded very little of that activity.

To set the context, it was the beginning of fall break, so Sarah was quite happy to be home for a few days and David was happy to have his responsibilities reduced, though he should really have been writing that grant proposal rather than playing with the camera. It all started on Saturday when this ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1750 was Benjamin's reaction to the rain and to the thought of going to the football game with Harvard, though we did manage to catch the second quarter and to show the Tigers how to score a touchdown, though our lesson didn't seem to take.

After dinner, the gang assembled ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1751 ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1752 to do some cookie decoration which only worked because more cookies ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1753 were being rolled out onto cookie sheets ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1754 and put into the oven ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1755 even as the ingredients accumulated ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1756 for further making cookies ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1757 ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1758 ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1759 that would later fill our bellies.

Chris appeared ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1760 to Suzanne's amusement ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1761 to pick up Kaylen ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1762 as Jane made her tongue face ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1763 her eyes closed face ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1764 and her frog face ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1765 to show her displeasure that even though there were more cookies to be decorated, ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1766 Michael was here ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1767 and Lucy would have to leave.

Sarah's gang from high school days gathered ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1768 and came together ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1769 for a few group pictures ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1770 ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1771 before Jane and Lucy took their biblical tract picture ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1772 and left them to gather partly together ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1773 ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1774 ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1775 for a few more pictures. Meanwhile, Jane ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1782 was chatting as Suzanne ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1783 and Benjamin ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1784 watched the World Series. ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1785 The night ended with a picture of the cameras ../../../Sabbat/10.26-27.02AWeekend//IMG_1786 used to take pictures of the girls that might or might not appear here at some future date after they have been processed by conventional means and turned into digital form.
