People and a cruise to see Howard Finster

Cruise FriendsDavidson Then on Friday October 1, I took the day off to go see Finster with DrLen. I left Suzanne and Sara Just ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0917 at home and found this parking space ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0918 on this street ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0919 in front of the Hallowe'en house ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0920 by this corner ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0921 and parked. As I started down the street, Dr Len drove by ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0922 and we headed off with only a small (and much needed) pit stop at this pit ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0923 before getting to this building ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0924 and this one ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0925 at Lehigh where we could look down the hill ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0926 at the rest of the campus or go inside and see work by Finster ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0927 which is what we did. After the exhibit, we drove through the town past houses like this ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0949 to the bridge ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0950 where we could overlook the mill ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0951 and Dr Len ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0952 could watch the goings on of an old mill town ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0953 while I took this self portrait ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0954 and these scenic city views ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0955 ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0956 plus these views of the goodly Dr overlooking the railroad ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0957 ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0958 before we said good bye to the mill ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0959 and headed to the local town hangout ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0960 which we entered ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0961 through this door ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0962 and got this picture for the collection ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0963 before heading off back to Lambertville. Along the way, we stopped for this ice cream ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0964 for me ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0965 and Dr Len enjoyed his ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0966 as we both enjoyed the outsider art piece ../../../Sabbat/2004/09.28-10.01.04CampusAndOutsiderArt//IMG_0967 saluting the ice cream cone.
