and prepared for the ride into the city.  How hard could it be to drive the truck through the Holland Tunnel and across town?

Well, a few hours alter, we had a good sense of what tunnels and bridges are open to trucks (information we don't expect to use again) and liked the Manhattan Bridge

though we understood traffic very well

but as we pulled into the loading dock, we met a group ready to do very fast unloading

before we grouped with Ed's high school friend for the long trip to return the truck

so that we could stare at the fixtures way high in the ceiling and fantasize about levels of furniture and dance floors, etc.

After a few more people in the apartment pictures, we decided to venture home where the drive by car made navigating bridges and tunnels much easier.
