It was to be a special day. As I walked in to work, they were almost totally prepared for what was to come
even though the chapel entrance was closed
Once in the office, I saw George Butts (GeoRomeo)
about COS 111 and John Taylor
about independent work. Michele
came in a little late and not feeling well. Then Misha
came by to show me his latest results.
Patrick Min
and Jim Roberts
came by and we went to check out the video with Steve Elgersma
making sure the controls worked and Patrick
putting in the video to show that it played. On the way back to the office, Doug Clark tried to hide down this stairwell
but we got him before he got away. After a few head shots
to show off my new haircut, Brian came by and we posed
in our parade costumes. Then Andrea arrived
and finally Andrew
so that the team was assembled and we could go to the parade grounds.
Once there, the chemical engineers
asked that I take their picture (I also took one with their camera). Mike Jennings
was seeming quite happy and Brad Dickinson
was trying to figure which end was up. Brian hooked up with Hisashi Kobyashi and Karin Trainor
while Jim Wei showed his new hat to Georgia Nugent
and Brian took Doug Clark's picture.
Finally we got it. The fancy people assembled
as this woman took our pictures
and then the parade began and the ceremony completed.
Afterwards, I took Suzanne to see the Friend Center where we ran into Adam
who took this picture of me
and then I captured Michael Littman
in this pose.
The main event was on the track field. We ran into Dan and Priscilla Scheiner
with this woman
who this woman
thought was their daughter. Bill and BJ were there
in Princeton regalia and Jim Wei
had pants
to die for. Suzanne had the soup
while Van Williams and friends waited in line
and I got a picture of the ice sculpture.
Stuart Schwartz
was enjoying the event as we finally got out food and proceeded to the table.
Once at the table, Jane and friend showed the best
of the collection of desserts
while Laurie Russen watched
and Beth was too close
for focus while ThomasR and his wife
joined in the discussion about the waters of Princeton.
