To celebrate the second day of Rosh Hashanah, I went to Philadelphia to visit another Hall of Fame with Dr Len. This time it was the Philadelphia Athletics Museum which we entered and then saw the heroes and their outfits along with tickets to Shibe Park a letter signed by Franklin Roosevelt some bobble head dolls and pictures of the 1961 A's along with signed balls a memory of Tug McGraw and Joe Astroth and Bobby Shantz in action. As we made our way through the memorabilia we saluted Richie Ashburn and Jimmie Foxx Roberto Clemente (not exactly a Philadelphia hero) a piece of the Phillies 1961 team a turnstile from Shibe Park many signed baseballs uniforms hats cards more uniforms more uniforms and photos beginning with Connie Mack and moving on to Abbott and Costello in Who's on First, ... some items for sale a trivia question about curve balls a salute to Richie Ashburn and the 1950 Whiz Kids before I recorded the members of the Philadelphia Athletics Wall of Fame

and then a photo of Connie Mack and some final bobble head dolls before we left the museum and passed the record store before noticing the world's best pretzels where there was a display not unlike the baguette left by Sarah and Ed and pretzels with mustard which may not have come up to the level of world's best. Back on the streets, we passed a specialty logo store and a bakery with wonderful neon before going to the local radio station and watching the broadcast happen (as in ``excuse me for a minute, I have to announce something on the airwaves'') and then had a bite to eat before leaving town.
