The next day, the banana was still there. We walked beyond this woman and her kids with McDonald's logos on the back of their hats to views of Eiffel Tower bridge across the Seine Les Invalides where we took a picture of Suzanne with the cannon and David with the guard. After a look at Napoleon's tomb we went to the Arpege restaurant where they were cleaning the sidewalk and he was getting ready to mop it. The Rodin museum across the street was closed so Suzanne went shopping for shoes. After the obligatory phone booth picture we were ready for the meal. We had this caviar and then noticed the decoration of (inedible) African cucumbers on our table. This was an egg shell filled with egg, cream and maple syrup. The bread was really quite good. This is the most expensive bottle of wine I've ever bought. The soup was gazpacho with pepper ice cream. Then came the couscous. Then, the tomatoes filled with vegetables I had ravioli filled with dates and tomatoes and Suzanne had mussel soup Then I had an artichoke and Suzanne has lobster After, cantaloupe, mozzarella and great tasting green peppercorns we had a sweet and then a tomato with 16 tastes (you have to ask Suzanne what they were) with licorice ice cream. The strawberries were in Hibiscus sauce and then they brought another plate of sweets. (I think this was a mistake. I think different sweets were supposed to come. ) I took a picture of the owner's mother and the sugar while we drank our coffee. This was the head waiter who gave us his card and the bill We went back to the shoe store where where he fitted Suzanne's shoes

Next, we headed to the Eiffel Tower and took many views as David talked to Augustus himself Back near the hotel, we found Croque Monsieur and then had our rest.

We hardly needed dinner after that lunch, so we walked through the Luxemborg Gardens where the facility was closed. We sat and stared at the Rodins in front of the Palace. and recorded this statue before the whistle blew telling us it was time to leave. At the restaurant, they had this self cleaning toilet and I took the obligatory phone booth picture before we were seated at Balzar where the bread made Suzanne happy. I liked my salad Suzanne liked her smoked salmon and her red wine and my white wine were fine. Then came the salad which we enjoyed and the cheese. We left as members in good standing of the clean plate club. We paid our bill and on the way home, we took this picture for Jane's Armani collection.
