Back at home, the crew came to make measurements for the art show and Margie
and Orlando posed
before doing a sample testing of boards on the wall.
Next, we went to New York to help celebrate Martha's birthday and arrived to see the nice flower arrangement Suzanne had sent
as our waiter appeared
and gazpacho (an amuse buche) was served
and the Slaugher men present posed
as did Jane
who took this photo of us toasting the birthday girl
before recording the old friends.
The memory book was presented to Martha
which she quite enjoyed
and then my caprese salad (with excellent Balsamic) arrived
along with the beet salad
and oysters even though there was no R in the month
and some meat since it was the Strip House
along with spinach
potatoes
mushrooms
and, at long last, my macaroni and cheese
before the dessert menu appeared
and we sang happy birthday
until Martha blew out the candles
and cake was eaten.
This left me with the wish to take a few artistic photos of the candles on the table which i couldn't quite center
and this sign for the collection
before we left and headed to Ann's apartment where there was a real need for proxies.
