The next day, we came down and the kitchen counter showed some signs of the night before as the singing group (who had slept over) assembled slowly for breakfast and we admired the game that had come in the cereal as Ben was ready to go and Jane was not but no one was going to eat the left over Hoagie even if all of the strawberries were gone. Suzanne wished us well for the last trip to the bus stop where Emily Shea was taking pictures like this one but Ben was not participating. After admiring the statues Sarah bought in Greece we headed to school where Dr. Ginsburg was talking to the PTO mothers and captured a picture of the principal and then of Harry Cummins who was at his last day (at least, for a while) of Princeton schools. Once in the gym, we saw the Resniks as Kathy Klockenbrink arrived and I took this self portrait before capturing the Gelfand parents and Aunt Peggy who is always there. Tony Klockenbrink arrived and so I took a picture of the bus stop parents and siblings and of those still sitting as Tony undoubtedly did the same. As the students climbed the risers, the Schures were amused by James' kilt even as we took a few more pictures of the whole class until our view was blocked and it was time for someone ( thanks to Sarah for volunteering ) to get in position to see those with memories of second grade to assemble and take their turns until it was Ben's and then Stephanie Klockenbrink's and then they finished and went through the process of marching through the teachers and new principal before the ceremony was over. I took the obligatory picture of the Blounts and then the Straus family who gained a new member before going back to their usual size Audrey having forgotten their camera. After the family pictures Ben and Jeremy posed and then Ben showed us the planting he had done around the school. On the way to the car, I ran into Ed Percarpio getting into his and Tony waiting for ours as I bid farewell to JP.

Once home, I headed to the airport for a flight to Monterey so I could attend the Princeton conference on invention and innovation. After dinner that night, I captured Nathan Myhrvold David Botstein and Jody Friedman before heading off to my room and noting the massive size of the bathroom before going to sleep.
