Betsy has been confined to bed rest for 15 weeks as she
hopes that the twins inside her will keep growing to
viable sizes. We decided to go visit her and see how
she was doing. We stopped at Wegman's
where Suzanne was driving her cart
in search of the car so that we could get gasoline
and a picture of a Red Bull sign
and head on our way to the Delaware Memorial bridge
and the rest stop where we used the facilities
and returned
to the car to resume our journey down the Delaware Turnpike
into a traffic jam
until we found our way to Charles Street
and their house
where Betsy was happy to see us
as were Matt
Dick and Fran
though Benjamin was trying to find his way around their house.
The spread for lunch
brought Benjamin back to life
as did the cookies
and trail mix
afterwards as we visited with Betsy
and Suzanne
and Fran
marveled as Betsy
turned
until we could see her bulge
ever growing.
We went to the pond to feed the ducks
as the bread was tossed
the ducks came
to see the trail of bread pieces
as we created even more
and saw the gold fish
A few more crumbs
and it was time to say good bye to the younger
and older
generations as our team
climbed into the car for the trip to the Club Diner
where the menu
had everything on it which cause Benjamin
to slowly
perk up
and while I was capturing this sign
for my collection, the food came
which unfortunately did not look or taste as good as it sounded
on the menu.
