Saturday morning, I admired the tulips
before heading into town for this veggie burger
which looked better sans light
and then it was off to the bank where we met Kathy Ales
and then homeward with a stop to admire the Hummer
that was going to take the bride and groom away from their wedding.
Saturday evening, as Jane
and Ben
enjoyed the movie. Suzanne
and I
and Suzanne again
got ready not to play hoops
but to take the car
to the Behrman dinner but not before Jane took these pictures of us
for posterity.
Once at the dinner, we met Eve Ascheim (Visual Arts) and her husband
and then
P. Adams Sitney (Visual Arts) and
Christine Stansell (History and Humanities Council) and
Froma Zeitlin (Classics) and Michael Wood (English); not to mention
Karin Trainer the librarian
and Bob Fagels (Comparative Literatures)
who posed with Karen and Bill
and then with his wife Lynne
who had put the whole thing together.
As we were leaving, I captured this picture of Eva and Lionel Gossman
who were happy to know they'd be on the web site.
