Snow

It was a record breaking snow. At least for NYC where they got 25". In Princeton there were only about 15" but this was the view when I opened the door ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0589 and across the driveway ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0590 before I began to clear a path ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0591 towards the end of the driveway ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0592 and then Suzanne gave me salt for the steps ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0593 while Jane ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0594 helped with the finishing touches ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0595 so that Ben was bundled ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0596 and ready to go on the freshly cleaned steps ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0597 with his sled ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0598 after we had expressed our concern about Jane's injured finger ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0599

So we walked the cleared path to the street and looked towards Nassau Street ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0600 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0601 before Ben began the trek in the other direction ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0602 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0603 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0604 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0605 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0606 to the field ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0607 where Ben paused ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0608 at the stop sign ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0609 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0610 before we headed up the street ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0611 past John Shea's dug out car ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0612 and up the shoveled path to Adam ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0613 where his salt spreader was at the ready ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0614 and Nate ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0615 and Ben ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0616 considered the salt spreader ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0617 before joining Hannah ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0618 to make the trip to go sledding. ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0619

On my way back, I ran into Paul Dimaggio who was shoveling ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0620 as I headed up Hibben Road in the snow ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0621 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0622 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0623 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0624 until I got home. ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0625

Later I went past the car ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0626 which wasn't going on the street ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0627 and watched as Suzanne came down the driveway ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0628 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0629 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0630 so that we could walk into town where we saw this artistic parking meter int eh snow ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0631 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0632 ../../../Sabbat/2006/02.12-16.06SnowOffice//IMG_0633
