The time came to go to Ben Gurion Airport and catch the flight to Rome The family got up early so everyone was excited to be at the airport When we got to Rome, we did like the Romans and we ate. Jane enjoyed the bread Sarah was incognito Suzanne was happy to be off the plane David allowed his new beard to be photographed and Benjamin agreed to a photo shoot Before leaving we took a picture of the waiters

Back at our apartment, we noticed that the US embassy to the Vatican is across the street (but still no sightings of THE ambassador). We also took the obligatory phone booth picture as well as a picture of the Palatine which we overlook to remind us that Rome wasn't built in a day.
