Mike Churgin came for a visit. We had wanted to go to Sefad for a while. He agreed, so we headed off.

Our first stop was for lunch where we were welcomed warmly and everyone

was in a good mood except for the poor lamb and Suzanne's which looked all right but a little lethargic. David's mousaka came through in fine shape. Once we took a picture of the waitress the rest of the staff asked to also be enshrined in our archives.

With a good lunch in our systems, we walked down the steep steps past the broken house and down the narrow alley to the tallit makers shop

We took the obligatory phone booth picture and went looking for the Messiah always being careful not to pollute We saw the ads for Shavuoth but probably won't have the peyot of these kids or the prayer vest of this man. And, we will certainly miss M. D. Weinstock

We had a new car for the day as Jane documented on the way home
