It was a beautiful Saturday and we went exploring in various corners of the Carmel with the Tal family. First we went to the Druze village of Isfiya for lunch. Before we ate, everyone was hungry

The camera's batteries gave out after these pictures, so we had to go on to Daliyat el Carmel where this woman was nice enough to sell us batteries for 25 shekels so that we could resume our journey and take the obligatory phone booth picture Suzanne and Yossi made the necessary pit stop so that we could stop staring at the statue and buy some T shirts in stores like this one

Our next stop was at Muhraka, where Elijah had his famous encounter with the 450 priests of Baal. From the top of the church, you could see almost everywhere as our photo orgy shows

including one where the careful viewer can se the smokestacks of the factory in Hadera.

Eventually we got back to taking people pictures

By this time we were all feeling a little tired so we took the necessary wild flower pictures

For our final stop, we went to En Hod There were many road signs here that we had ben meaning to capture on film for quite a while Then we found some art to sit on By now, it was quite late so we decided to call it a day and fight the traffic back to Herzalia.
