On the way south, we went through some severe desert with nothing to see. At the 101 kilometer marker we ran into a tacky rest stop. In this store, I bought this paperweight The artistic effort made me want to experiment further Then we took the obligatory phonebooth picture and left.

The next day, we got up early and went to the aquarium fully dressed Our first stop was the yellow submarine After the obligatory security check we all climbed aboard I discovered that you don't get very good pictures shooting through the portholes of a ship tens of meters below the sea.

Once the ship came back up, we walked below sea level to take these pictures

Then we came above board and took a picture of Jordan Our next stop was the Shark Pool you know all the jokes Next we took mermaid and merman pictures and the obligatory phone booth picture

For a break, we came back and took a dip in the hotel pool before it was time to go for our camel rides The camels looked tame enough as we got ready to board Then Suzanne waited for Golda (her camel) to rise which she did and so did Face for Jan and Mona for Benjamin and I

As we rode on we all became more comfortable. We got to the top of the mountain, we stopped for a break

Then we walked our camels down the hill before getting back on board for the ride to the canyon

At night, we rode back to the stables
