Sarah and I wondered how best to capture the television screen on film. We felt that we had to record Oprah with Hebrew subtitles for all to see.

The first question was whether to use the flash or not. With the flash, the picture is no good.

Then we took pictures from too great a distance and so saw nothing

Finally, we discovered that even with the proper settings, the pictures were far from wonderful.

Little did we realize that these pictures would be important later on when we had a quiet Saturday night of channel surfing
