It was the weekend of Betsy and Matt's wedding, so we drove to Baltimore to join in the revelry.

The first event we attended was the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. We had dinner with Larry and Janet who must have been jetlagged because they couldn't keep their eyes open. JonMarens was in better spirits as was Paige and Gregory was bubbling with laughter which distracted Suzanne's face away from the camera. This amused Sarah and David but seemed to make Jane and Benjamin nervous though they thought their roll looked just fine.

Fran and Dick looked like proud parents of the bride as Sylvia greeted Marty from Chicago Florence was happy as Harry posed with the bride to be and Reva engaged Janet in conversation. But perhaps, Matt and his pals were having the best time of all as many of the Dobkin women posed together which brought a strange expression to Dan's face

After dinner there were the speeches by Dick which Michelle and Jason watched with great interest, then by Sylvia Michelle and Tricia Finally Betsy and Matt talked about how happy they were to be here and we all went off to rest up for the main event.

The next morning, we ran into Sylvia on her way to the beauty parlor and got the before picture before her driver came We went off to explore a little of the Inner Harbor pausing to admire the Bromo Seltzer clock before running into Larry at the aquarium where his group clutched their tickets and we had a group effort to celebrate JonMarens' birthday which can still be represented on less than 6 complete hands. This kept us amused until Jason arrived to get his ticket. Of course, seeing the aquarium kept them from seeing the real sights of the harbor and the waterfall you could walk through and the statue of Thurgood Marshall

This led up to the main event, so Benjamin put on his tux David put on his suit and Jane showed Benjamin how to walk down the aisle so he could practice in the parking lot We had some photo ops outside the church before Benjamin went in to the church to get his pillow While we were waiting, we greeted Barbara, Eric, Larry, Dan alone, and with Sylvia, Suzanne Paige and JonMarens, and Betsy and Michelle before zooming in on the bride and her mother

Benjamin and the flower girl got ready and had a practice step before they hit the aisle in front of the bride on her Dad's arm until she joined Matt at the front of the church while the best man helped the priest get the rings ready and then they were married and lit the candles of life as the bridesmaids watched, Michelle got ready to step in and Benjamin played with the pillow After a final blessing they walked out as husband and wife followed by the ring bearer and flower girl

Outside the church, the crowds gathered and the wedding party waited so that the bubbles could be blown. Benjamin practiced cousin Rachel (without the beard) taught Aunt Florence to blow bubbles and anticipation increased until they appeared.

On the way to the reception, we ran into the photographers who needed Benjamin to complete these pictures Inside, we captured Jason and Michelle JonMarens and Paige Toba and Emily and Toba, Ellen and Emily We also took some possible campaign photos for LaHabra'2000 before the photographers decided to take group pictures of all of us and this kind woman helped us take our own pictrures

Next it was time to dance, so Benjamin and Sarah hit the floor but they were overshadowed when people started to be hoisted up on chairs. First Betsy and Matt then Dick and Fran then Pat and Joe and Sylvia

Brunch the next day began with a campaign picture followed by the people at our table Jane Sarah Michelle Jason Benjamin David (who was still blurry from the night before) and Suzanne Afterwards, there were the family pictures and then Larry, Suzanne and Toba got into their conversation but Gregory moved too fast to be captured on film until he found the potted palm We said our last good byes and headed for the pool where this woman took this family photo and we took another campaign picture

Next we went to dinner at this fancy restaurant with a dress code As you can see, Sylvia Dan, Benjamin, Sarah, Suzanne Jane, and David passed the test. The pasta dishes were good and the dessert was even better.

The next morning we started in the lobby and eventually marched into town past these pickets to the Science Museum where Benjamin did his fireman thing leading all 3 kids to do a family portait

We had lunch at Johnny Rockets where we had a girl booth and a boy booth and admired the straw dispensers Next we went to rent paddle boats in full regalia Suzanne and Sarah pedaled away while Jane and David were getting salad dressing samples from this man

For dinner, we went to this old restaurant where everyone looked a little tired

and this gentleman brought us dinner including this Reuben-less sandwich, this Caesar salad, and this cranberry juice with internet humor to boot.

On Tuesday morning, we went to this place for breakfast where Suzanne had coffee from this large mug Jane Dan Sylvia Sarah Benjamin and David enjoyed the service of this waitress named Sarah and we liked the mugs but no one liked Benjamin's pancakes
