It was time for Matt and Christine's wedding and so Suzanne and I drove to Mays Landing, Virginia for the event but we seem not to have been very awake as this photo shows.
Things were set up outside the tent
and inside
as we noted the name cards
and discovered that some people would be sitting on our block
and indeed this was our table.
But first we posed with Patty, Debbie's friend of old
and then captured a photo of Krysta, Matt's old friend
as Jane
partially emptied her basket although many bubbles remained
and so people could begin to be seated
and programs could be studied
as the scene unfolded on a windy day
with lovely clouds in the sky
but eyes focused back tot he hotel
as the bride walked in on her father's arm
and joined her groom as the ceremony progressed

before Matt's grandfather read a wonderful speech in Spanish to cheer them on

and then the ceremony was completed
and they kissed
and marched on
so that it was time to collect our name cards
and illuminate them
before helping this group trying to take a selfie
to get a non-selfie photo.
