It was time to leave Tucson, but before we could go we had to order breakfast from this menu and so Suzanne ordered her coffee and stirred it while we looked out at the leaking palm and then our meals arrived

but as we ate, we admired the bird sitting on the glass at the next table

as Suzanne finished her meal and we prepared to drive on and we travelled across the Tohono Oldham reservation to the elementary school where Suzanne taught and then to the median of organ pipe cacti which were remarkable before we went under the arch and saw the gas station where we were given directions of where we might find a local basket. Unfortunately, all but the grocery store were closed. So, we drove on and stopped at Middle of Nowhere where we were greeted by this sign for the collection against this backdrop and eventually we came to Yuma where this was our lunch. Once in San Diego, we recorded this license plate for the colelction after dinenr and called it a night.

Next day in San Diego, we drove to the Original Pancake house where Suzanne and Dan were joined by Syl as we waited for our table and ocne seated, these were our meals before Dansyl's main course came. After lunch we went to the beach where we found a delightful bench and observed the swecenery as Suzanne walked to the edge and then this selfie may have amused the pigeon before we took this photo of a license plate for the collection and then took an afternoon's rest. Dinner was at the Marine Room where the view was spectacular as Syl and Dan studied their menus as we watched boaters and floaters and birds which amused Suzanne Dan Syl and me in clockwise order around the table as our food arrived

and so we returned to watching the birds and bathers and then the birds at a distance before dessert came and we saw Hawaii (no doubt) in the distance. After dinner, we passed these lovely flowers en route to the car.
