It was time to leave the Grand Canyon and explore our roots back in Tucson and so we took a few pictures of license plates for the collection
before having breakfast
and then driving on to a stop where this was the warning on the rest room
as we filled up with gas
before we stopped en route for a wonderful lunch at a gas station, post office, town hall, ...
and then we were in Tucson and took photos of my old house at 6561 N. Pomona
before making our way to the Arizona Inn where Suzanne ordered drinks
and so this pina collada
made me happy
as I studied the map
while waiting for Suzanne's mojito to arrive.
The next morning, we recorded the cacti around the Arizona Inn

Next we were off to the U of A where this elevator ride
took us to the Worlds of Words collection
and then we marched past the spirit of U of A
in front of the administration building
and Old Main
and we collected these signs for the collection at the Arizona State Museum.
We went to the Guadalajara for dinner where Suzanne posed
slightly more clearly the second time
and salsa was made at our table
as chips arrived
with the menu
and the salsa we had seen being constructed
and the mariachis amused us
as Suzanne's beer
accompanied our main courses.
