I was working in Israel but we had Saturday off for a tour of Haifa and Akko and so we began with the Bahai Gardens and an overview of the city. From the top of the hill we looked down at the gardens temple gardens and the city below with the clearly delineated street through the German Colony and then we entered the gardens where the flowers and statues and gates with warning provided a different set of views of the gardens

and city down to the water as I recorded flowers ever present crows lawns and trees of various sorts

before we drove to the bottom of the hill and looked up at what we had just seen settling in the German Colony before heading to the walls of Akko and looking at the castle and the area between the walls where Napoleon s soldiers were trapped. After studying the maps of the city and a city plan we headed for the crusader latrines which were well marked and documented and explored the architecture before heading out to look at the mosque and then making our way to a place to eat by the water before recording yet another post office sign not to mention this wonderful sign for the collection. We then went by the church which was marked with interesting icons and looked down at the wedding before recording this well decorated car of protest and watching a fisherman try to catch his dinner.
