It was shaping up to be a quiet rest of summer without a lot of photography but Charles Kruger
and Joe DeLucia from OIT came by for a chat about the pros and woes of VPN.
Once back, we went in to Philadelphia to have dinner with the Davidsons at a Greek restaurant with this plate of goodies
accompanied by pita bread
and main courses of fish
and pasta.
Next i went to San Diego for a few days to check in on the situation there and we went to a cafe where this was my brunch
along with a salad that could become face like
and then we explored the bathroom murals which were supposed to be awesome, and indeed they were.
The owner was kind enough to let us take kitchen photos
and even to pose with us in the kitchen.
Next we had Andy, Debbie and Katy and the Yake's in for lunch and served salmon
along with caprese salad
bread
corn
and some homemade salads
which enlivened the table that looked like this
as I put my plate together
much to the amusement of Byron who thought it was time for him to practice table photography.
It was a pretty day and sow e went to the beach with the kramers and saw this elegant sand sculpture

Back at home, I completed work on the additional tiles for the kitchen wall

Because the old tiles were about to depart, I decided to photograph them in place.
Jane and I went to Gottino for dinner and had these remarkable olives
that took a second shot to shine
and then this small plate that defied description and so required a photo.
The next day, we had breakfast at the Cafe Cluny where this was the collection sign.
Back at home, Suzanne and I went for a walk and discovered this rush Holt sign for the collection
as well as these pictures of boards advertising Queen Jane
and this sign for the dog collection.
The next day, I captured these signs on campus for the art show.
At my office, the auditors came and so I took their picture.
A few days later, Rabbi Eitan Webb came to visit.
and after dinner at Agricola that night I captured this collection sign that was quite good.
When we went shopping for furniture for Ben's dorm room, we came across this sign at Skillman furniture.
Dan Aubrey came to interview me for US 1 and so I took his photo int he phone booth.
