The week began with a visit to Mary Betz at the bank where we completed the refinancing of our house so as to be able to pay for the renovations.

Next I had the final lunch of the year with Ronnie Sircar (Operations Research and Financial Engineering), Kim Scheppele (University Center for Human Values and Woodrow Wilson School), Sean Wilentz (History), and John Kastellec (Politics).

and then I returned home to preparations for the C3 dinner where the kitchen was working as full speed

as the flowers were being set up and the favors were set. In the end, this was a flower arrangement and the living room table remained to be set as the rug was lying flat and so was Ben. But soon there were flowers and there was food and the tables were set and things were arranged in the kitchen for a remarkable meal.

It was time for Ben's prom and so he gathered his ticket and made his way to the car under Suzanne's watchful eye before he came back and made his way to the famous tree for photographs

to be joined by Suzanne before he got into the car and made his way to prom.
