It was time to celebrate Cornel West but first I spoke with Eddie Glaude and Yina Moore '79.
A few days later, Nahulu and Scott were visiting Jeff and so we made the excursion to Chick N Ello's Homestead Inn where these were the peppers
and bread
before my salad
and Jeff's (note the anchovies) arrived.
Next orders were taken
to fill our plates
with pasta of various sorts
before the main courses of ravioli
various meats
shrimp
and other meats arrived
along with spinach and french fries
accompanied by Jewish marinara.
Dessert brought peanut butter ice cream
and tiramisu
before our tour of the kitchen where we saw the original stove
and it's more modern replacement
and noted the people to call for repairs (just add a 1 tot he phone number)
as the work proceeded
but there was still time for a group picture
and as we passed the old style phone booth
we noted its use as a wine storage location
before we headed home so that Scott could check out the miniature chair.
