It was a most unusual February because it never got cold and never snowed but I wasn't complaining as I went to the Latke Hamantaschen debate and saw Ricky Silberman '13 who is the president of CJL
We had a visit from Beth Holtz from OIT to our staff luncheon
and then we celebrated Kris' birthday and mine
with this carrot cake.
I took the train into New York for dinner at Dirt Candy where the waitress
warmly welcomed Paul
and me
as I showed off my ability to take profile photos
before we read the menu
and ordered hush puppies
which Paul demonstrated
before the bread arrived
followed by my pepper
and his cabbage
and then my pepper was fully assembled
as my corn
and his cauliflower arrived
and then at dessert
we ordered the unique rosemary eggplant tiramisu where the cotton candy was amazing.
The next morning, Jane and I went out for coffee and a small bite and I nearly killed myself by trying this sauce which was quite spicy hot.
