Back at work, Martin Mbugua
was brought to my office by Cass Cliatt for a meet and greet.
A few days alter, we recorded the dessert we had finished.
Next it was Lizzie Just's bridal shower and so the gang gathered
and much food was served
before the groom arrived
and the decorations were admired by all as a mini-city was constructed
or maybe two mini-cities.
And as the guests tired and departed
the locals looked on
and then began admiring tomatoes
and comparing them with apples.
A few days later, I ran into Kate and her family on the lawn of Nassau Hall and recorded them.
Next week, i went to Cambridge where I ran into Rachel George on Oxford Street
and then captured Christina McFadden in the dean's office.
It being the last day of the month, Jane and I went to Dirt Candy in New York where this was the menu
and these were the drinks
as she ordered the celery
and I ordered the carrot for starters
and we then continued with cauliflower for her
and corn for me
and even thought he desserts looked wonderful, we weren't hungry.
A few days later, I went back to New York with Suzanne and we admired the sign at Molly's cupcakes
and the statues at this church
not to mention this remarkable sculpture
before we headed to Jane for brunch (with Jane, of course)
and checked out the menu, front
and back
while they brought French toast which I devoured
and then shared with others
as the bread came
and then Jane's eggs Benedict
Suzanne's roasted shrimp ranchero
and my granola.
And then, wonder of wonders, it was Ben's last first day of school and so it took him some time to get his shoes on
and pose
before he finally seemed awake, alert and ready fro the new school year.
