Jennifer Ealy came for a meet and greet as she started her work along with Andrew Kane who is her new boss.

The next day, I had German Labrador Mendez(Spanish and Portuguese), Paul Willis (Sociology), Szu-Yu Chen (Sophie) (Mathematics), Georges Reiniers (Sociology and Woodrow Wilson School), Alison Isenburg (History) and Martha Himmelfarb (Religion) to a faculty lunch. but this was all a prelude to a Sunday trip to New York to celebrate Jane's birthday bringing along this mirror as her present as Suzanne settled in on the couch and Willy greeted us as we explored Jane's room and watched Willy eat his pizza with a break for the flowers before we recorded one of his last non-vegan meals and headed on to L'artusi where the Sunday brunch was advertised and then there was the menu to announce its contents as we watched the bar tender make our drinks which were then brought to our table with Bloody Mary's and a Texas Mimosa along with tea for Ben before the basket of pastries arrived along with butter and blood marmalade and Jane's biscuits Suzanne's L'artusi breakfast my French toast with roasted bananas and Ben's Tajaran Carbonara which led to our check as we admired the people at the next table and wondered what gifts they brought for the baby shower and then our lame attempt at a groups elf portrait led to these better photos taken by the waitress before we paused at the bathroom to get this sign for the collection and then made our way out for a walk around the village where we came up this performed in the Washington Square fountain who slowly crunched his body into this small box and then emerged to convince us that we should be giving him donations as we made our way out past the famous arch and headed to a barber shop where thee barber gave Ben a hair cut in stages

with this hair leaving his head and the finishing touches making him leave as a different person than the one who came in though the change may not have been as much as it would have been had he spent his time in the gym with these folks. On our way to meet up with Jane and Suzanne, we discovered this gas station whose prices were edging up to $4 and beyond and if we felt our money could still talk we then realized that we might be heading to $5 gas before very long.
