After a late night, we started slowly with a large Canadian breakfast at the Perkins adjoining our hotel and then shuffled back to Buffalo where we went to Anchor which had invented the Buffalo wing but on our entry all we saw were license plates in all directions

and the obligatory phone booth photo of Ben with the things hanging from the ceiling and our hostess who saw to it that we got menus and then drinks after which we recorded the details of their sauce and their story along with a letter from former governor Pataki and this picture of the founders. and a movie and then a photo of Ben going at his wings. We left and took a movie and then some stills of the founder and a picture of the entire operation before continuing our journey to Euclid, Ohio where we saw this welcoming sign and this tank (clearly to protect the halls from those who would seek to do them harm) and then made our way past the sign through the door to the Cleveland style polka Hall of Fame and while watching the 2/4 beat and this accordion, we were treated to a 15 minute video about the polka tradition after which we recorded members of the hall

with a break to see memorabilia about the sounds of the 50's and 60's and then more members not the least of whom was Frank Yankovic and then after reading about the hall we noted the nominees in 2009 and the inductees and we then noted all of the lifetime achievement awards over the years

and the polka songs for all ages

and after one final accordion we found our hotel and after a quick rest headed to the Winking Lizard Tavern where Ben and I liked the napkins and my margarita but were amazed by the menu's list of beers and wines before our meals arrived and were eaten so that we could go see Rapid Robert -- Bob Feller -- outside Progressive Stadium along with his fans who had purchases bricks as we made our way to our seats and admired the scoreboard and the field which was very close and the opposite stands which listed retired numbers among other things. As we settled in the conference at home plate started the game on a sour note for the Indians and even this real hot dog and this costumed hot dog could not raise the spirits of the batter as he swung at pitches and base runners were produced but batter vs. pitcher only netted one run and we began to see why they retired the number 455 for fans as the game progressed to an unhappy end for the home team.
