The next morning, I got up early and went for a walk with the falls to my side past this nice arrangement celebrating the parks and on to the street of tacky shops including the frog at the Rain Forest Cafe and through the flowers back to the falls and a fountain of pennies with the falls only interrupted by the obligatory phone booth photo as I recorded various views of horseshoe falls and a few movies forgetting to change the setting and so getting a movie as well as static shots of flowers before Ben and I headed to Tim Horton's (little did we know Tim's whole story at this point) for breakfast and then drove on to Toronto where we had this lunch at the Marche, an interesting idea for a restaurant.

Our first stop in Toronto was the Hockey Hall of Fame where they had pucks from anywhere and everywhere

along with facemasks and these statues of player and goalie.

Once inside we saw the stick and pucks used to get the 3 fastest goals Bernie Parent's shirt, the puck involved in Wayne Gretsky's last point a referee's sweater Brett Hull's shirt and 802 symbolic pucks. Moving on, we saw jerseys hats bobble head dolls and various tokens of Wayne Gretsky including this trading card as we made our way to the New Jersey Devils display including their Trenton farm team and then the Rangers and Islanders, Flyers Penguins and Blackhawks where we felt part of their Stanley cup celebration as we recorded the history of the Stanley Cup

and then went to the Canadians locker room where I suited up as goalie and we then admired the uniforms of my teammates and the coach's hat before delving into the history of the Stanley Cup and other trophies and the Calder behind the Calder cup. Next we saw some NHL legends beginning with Gretsky and Gordie Howe and then international shirts from Kazhakstan and Iceland and a Gretsky shirt amid international logos and this lovely shirt from the Trail Smoke Eaters before turning to the Olympic medals of the past working our way back from 2006

Next we went to the hall and recorded first winners of the Foster Hewitt Memorial Award for broadcasting and then note Lord Stanley Wayne Gretsky Mario Lemieux and scoring leaders Phil Esposito Ken Dryden Bobby Hull Dave Molinari and Bobby Orr before I posed with the Stanley Cup and then Ben posed with the Stanley Cup. After recording Gordy Howe and Tim Horton (remember him from breakfast) we took many pictures of the championship BlackHawks team

and then left and found Ben some food in case we didn't have time for dinner. The Munros arrived early and so we walked by this gentleman who sold us tickets and then found our way to a restaurant with a view where Brian Ian Ben and I admired the view as drinks bread and our main courses arrived. We then went down to our seats and watched the Blue Jays lose to the Yankees before Brian, Ben and Ian and then Ben, me and Ian posed and we were off to find our hotel for the night.
