Our travels were over for a while and so we started to reestablish our presence in central New Jersey by having Martha and Bill meet Suzanne and me at Zoubi in New Hope on a very hot day where this was my specialty drink and Suzanne's and this was the wine that was served by the owner along with bread and our salads and appetizers before the main courses arrived and so we could admire the people at the neighboring table even as we recorded our wine and the owner with Bill and our waitress as coffee and dessert were served before Suzanne bade farewell to Martha and we collected our parking ticket and came home.

Back at work, I greeted Daniel Mendelsohn one day and welcomed David Langulli the new head of Corporate and Foundation Relations the next.

This all led to the celebration we had in Robbinsville for Jeff's birthday with wonderful pizza which Suzanne was enjoying as Jeff and I kept our eyes on the beer and the developing sunset (as good as you see in vacation venues).

The next day, Suzanne and I went for a massive walk along the canal passing by this beautiful flower in bloom and these geese.

A week later we went into the city and met Sarah and Jeff at Jeff's apartment where pink wine (and pink wine from a screw top bottle) was served along with foods we had brought which led to conversation with Jeff Sarah Ed (who had arrived) Suzanne and me as we ate away at the food and Jeff showed the flowers that had arrived for his birthday before we headed off to Corsino where we were joined by Wellington who settled into our table as Suzanne and Sarah watched the drinks arrive

and then the various salads and main courses people had ordered before we decided to leave without dessert because although the food was good, the noise was not.

But first, we took this picture to see how Sarah would look in Suzanne's glasses and recorded the desserts that we had skipped.

Back on our own turf, we had a drink with the Kramers to celebrate the ultrasound of their grandchild.
