Events were leading up to reunions and Jane's graduation but first I met with ACE Fellows Daniel Ragsdale (West Point) and Renee Barnett (UCSD).
Next, Van Williams '65 came to visit
before the reunions crowd started to assemble with Eve's arrival at our house.
Reunions being in full swing, we made our way from our walk to Panera where I posed with Pierre DuPont '83
and we then made our way past the flower lady who sold us bad flowers
to Jeff's house where we saw P. G. Sittenfeld
who decide to friend Suzanne
after posing with Jeff.
After I made my way to work, I met with Matt Clark '85
and then headed off to campus activities where I ran into Keith Lesnik
and this fellow who was playing his ukelele in the battle of the bands.
On the way to the stadium, we ran into Morgan, her mother and dog
and on the way back home, we ran into Abe Meisel walking barefoot
and once home, we greeted Rik Aspinall ('06) and Julia Stefanczyk ('06) who were here for reunions.
It was the day of the P-Rade and so Eve, Jon, Jamie, Sarah, Rik and Suzanne posed in suitable orange
as I also recorded the flowers
bananas
and plants
before Jon, Sarah and Jamie returned from Joe Canal's so that they were stocked
and we could make our way to arrive in the middle of the class of 1985
with the Old Guard soon to appear

Next we went to the Fisher-Stix reception and my first photo was of Will, Jane and Bartholt Clagett
after which I posed with Jane and Will
and Jane posed with 3 generations of Stix
before Jane and Will acted as though they were Ryan's parents' children
and George posed with his friend from England.
The whole group of graduates posed -- George, Jane, Pat, Emily, Will, Lindsay Gorman, Daniel Appel, Bertholt, Rachel, Dov, Ryan and Andrei Ungureau
for photos taken by the parents present.
After the party broke up, we went to reunions and visited a tent where Suzanne posed with Seva and Peter
and then this person who knew Jane from the music library posed with Peter and Suzanne before we called it a night.
It was Sunday, the day of Baccalaureate and of our party. So flowers and balloons of various shapes and sizes were gathered

The next day was class day. On my way, I ran into Rachel Bolten's parents emerging from the Phi Beta Kappa ceremony
and then we sat in front of Katie Camille's aunts
who were eating their breakfast
as we watched the people troop in
and admired the hat of the person in front of us
even as photos of our group were taken
and the assembled were ushered in by Sandra
as Shirley prepared to speak
and we watched the people around us
and then with a nod to Sandra I was off to meet the trustees.
After lunch, we followed Jane to the Judaic Studies reception
where we all posed
and then Jane and Miriam Marek posed
as did Jane and Suzanne
while Dansyl watched
and the relevant faculty gathered
as Peter Schafer led the ceremony
at which the nominees gathered with faculty
and awards were given especially the one to Jane
before the prize winners posed -- !!, !!, Jane and !!
and then were joined by the faculty
before Jane was congratulated in turn by Sylvia
Peter Schafer
and Yaacov Dweck
as we made our way to the architecture ceremony and Jane posed with Rena Rigos
and then with Ed Eigen
and then Tess and Jane posed with Mary O'Boyle
and the 3 were joined by Suzanne
before Jane posed with Otilla Pupenzeau
and both posed with Stan Allen and Ed Eigen.
On our way back to the car, we ran into Pat Guglielmi
and then Jane posed with George
and Zach Zimmerman
and George, Jane, and Zach posed
before Jane met Dianne Spatafore
and Colton Heward-Mills
as we admired the Class of 65 memorabilia
at Holder Courtyard where their 45th reunion had been
and then returned home so that Jane could open some presents.

This was the big day, actual graduation. First came the PADT winners starting with Arcadio Diaz-Quinones with his family
and Jeff Stout
and Erhan Cinlar
and then P. Adams Sitney
who posed with his daughter
and was willing to wear the "I may be illegal" button on his robes
before Janet Neglia and Sara Ingrafia arrived to man the medical station
and took this picture of me with the political button on my robes.
After I captured Halcyon and Billy Hepfinger (from Pittsburgh) who would lead the singing of Old Nassau, the event happened.
After the event, there was one more political picture
before Jane came back and was greeted by Syl
and Dan
and me
and then posed for a parental picture
before the whole family posed.
and then it was family and Syl
and family with Dansyl

After a break, we headed to a celebratory dinner at Rats where Sarah, Jane and Suzanne posed
and we recorded the free (after a fashion) sampler from the kitchen
and the escabeche olive dish
and the fingerling potatoes
and salad
soup
and bread
before the duck
burger
chicken
steak
hummus (by a fancier name)
cheeses
and escabeche arrived
along with the pasta with the foam
as Sarah
Jane
Syl
Dan
Suzanne
Ben
and I
all agreed that a celebration was in order
even if in low light
and no light
it took us some time to record the other desserts.
After a family lineup along the back of the seating
we head to the sculpture garden where these nice people were willing to share their bench first with Ben
then with Ben and Sarah
and then with many of us.
But, when we looked back to Rats, we realized it was time to go and call it a massive celebration.
