Before we could celebrate, there were meals to be eaten. After dinner at Main Street, we ran into John Webb, Kerry Walk and Maggie Browning having a drink. A faculty lunch brought forth James Olsen (PHY), Jose Scheinkman (ECO), Alex Vazquez (ENG), Ted Champlin (CLA), Hersch Rabitz (CHM) and Mark Zondlo (CEE).

Finally, it was time to celebrate Ben's birthday. Jane brought a sign which was hung and welcomed people and then we admired the framing of Jane's work as Ben posed and a closer picture of a framed picture was taken as Jane Ben Suzanne and I posed and then Jane took a few photos of the group to test the new camera before Ben began to open his birthday present

and out emerged a PlayStation 2 just in time since Alan had arrived to drop off Joel and the gang was engaged in Dance Dance Revolution to work off calories that might come from chips and even more action was necessary as Eric and Ben competed since the pizza was ready to be eaten along with the remaining condiments.

We adjourned into the other room where Joel and Ben sat as did Suzanne Andy Jane and Ryan when Jeff arrived which seemed to cause Joel to eat another piece of pizza perhaps because when the gift giving started, Jeff had given Ben a gift certificate from Hoagie Haven which took a number of tries to get into frame and Andy had produced a card that showed he's been stalking Ben as Joel, Andy and Ben sat on the couch and Suzanne and Jane posed before Jane left with her hat to wear to the architecture prom as Jeff claimed his rightful seat in the Steelers seat and the cake was prepared even as Jeff figured out the train schedule to New York. The candles on the cake were light and blown out and removed making Ben officially 15 as his friends started to celebrate with Jeff's shirt meaning that Jeff and Eric had to pose as the HH twins even as the cake was being eaten. The sugar led Eric to embrace Raggedy Ann as an intense game of Apples to Apples emerged and Jeff Alan Suzanne and I focussed on the UNC victory over Villanova (which had probably not even beaten Pitt).

The next morning, I arose to see some of the boys playing video games while others slept so I made my pilgrimage to Dunkin Donuts bringing back a happy dozen and we gathered drinks so that breakfast could be taken and for artistic completeness, I recorded the Diet Green Tea and Orange Juice which provided our essential nutrients.
